Laurie Buczek is an Enterprise Marketing Manager for a Fortune 100 company where she is responsible for the full marketing mix for one product line. Prior to the current role, she managed the team responsible for the corporate website user experience along with the on-domain social media strategy. In addition, she spent two years as the Social Computing Program Manager where she was responsible for the strategy & implementation of Enterprise 2.0 for employee collaboration & communication. She started her social media journey in 2007, while blazing a new trail for online marketing efforts by helping to launch & manage the first external community. She is sharing her perspective & learnings as an early adopter, an early practitioner of social media. Laurie has spent 18 years in high technology working in a variety of roles and companies.
In addition to her day job, she is an active community volunteer. Laurie has been on several board of directors and has held many leadership roles in marketing, technology, strategic direction setting for non-profits across the country.
She holds a B.A. from The Ohio State University.
